Role Overview
The Regional Resource Development Graduate Intern will provide administrative support, Grant Acquisition Analysis, and documentation. The role is aligned with the East Africa Region and Partnership Strategy, , and supports the achievement of the Grant Acquisition strategy.

In this role, the intern will gain valuable hands-on experience in administrative tasks, grant acquisition analysis, the utilization of technology for enhanced acquisition, and documentation. In addition, the intern will experience and learn from team dynamics including relational, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
Major Responsibilities
Monitor and Report Field Office Progress
Schedule, send the agenda, invites, and take meeting notes for dissemination and filing in Box for Grant Acquisition and Management (GAMHUB) quarterly calls, one-on-one EARO RDU-FO meetings, and EARO-RDU bi-weekly catch-up calls.
Support preparations for the annual GAM Forum.
Update the EAR, FO, and external partners contact list.
File and organize EAR GAM documents in Box.
Research and Analysis (Influence)
Coordinate information collection for capacity statement development.
Update the Grant Opportunity Acquisition Tracking (GOAT) report for further review.
Administrative Support, Planning, and Reporting
Prepare draft budget, agenda, and logistics (flights, accommodation, meals, ground transport, RDU material, passports, and visas) for WV EAR RDU internal and external meetings, workshops, launches, conferences, or forums.
Support EAR GAM knowledge management site and team channels' documents.
Support ensuring engagement meeting notes and action points are documented and executed.
Support bi-weekly prayer meetings by ensuring speakers are selected and invites are sent.
In consultation with the Grants Support Officer, ensure branding materials are ready and available for engagements.
Support Go/No-Go approval process on Teams.
EAR GAMHUB Correspondent
Survey NOs, RO, and SOs to attain their priorities, assess results, identify key experts throughout the partnership to address concerns, and coordinate agenda development.
Coordinate logistics and accommodation for local and international attendees and collaborate with the RDU Team on meeting agendas.
Develop a GAM HUB Report and Action Plan to disseminate to all stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in social sciences, economics, or related fields.
Graduated within the last two years.
Knowledge of emerging global trends, resource mobilization, community development, and fragile contexts.
Experience planning and organizing workshops or forums for participants across multiple countries.
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, particularly in a cross-cultural environment.
Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills.
