German to Icelandic Automotive Translators

Responsibilities

• Translate automotive content from German into Icelandic with high linguistic accuracy.
• Edit and proofread translations to ensure they meet client standards and cultural nuances.
• Collaborate with an international team of localization experts.
• Use Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools effectively throughout the translation process.
• Engage in long-term, flexible freelance projects for globally recognized automotive brands.

Requirements

• Native-level command of Icelandic.
• Fluent, near-native knowledge of German.
• Strong linguistic background, preferably with a university degree in Translation or Linguistics.
• At least 2+ years of professional experience as a translator or editor.
• Previous experience in translating automotive content is a significant advantage.
• Strong knowledge of CAT tools and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms.
