Peoplelink Consultants Ltd is looking for a Gardener to manage and maintain outdoor green spaces. The role involves ensuring that plants, lawns, and gardens are healthy and aesthetically pleasing through regular cultivation, maintenance, and care. The successful candidate will be responsible for planting, lawn care, and the application of horticultural treatments to promote growth and prevent disease.
Responsibilities
Plant, grow, and maintain flowers, trees, shrubs, and lawns.
Water plants and monitor soil conditions to ensure optimal growth.
Prune trees and shrubs to maintain their health and desired shape.
Apply fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides safely to protect plants.
Mow lawns, edge walkways, and remove weeds from various garden areas.
Maintain gardening tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Identify and treat various plant diseases and pests.
Assist in landscape design and seasonal planting projects.
Keep all outdoor areas clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
Requirements
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Basic knowledge of plants, soils, and gardening techniques.
Proficiency in using common gardening tools such as lawn mowers and shears.
Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and good time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred.
