Front Office Supervisor (Head of Front Office)

• Oversee daily front office operations, including fast and accurate check-in/check-out processes.
• Maintain excellent lobby and shop standards at all times.
• Handle guest requests and complaints quickly and professionally.
• Plan staff shifts and coordinate team coverage effectively.
• Ensure timely communication across all hotel departments.
• Keep all systems and records up to date to ensure operational efficiency.
• Support occupancy optimization and ensure strict adherence to approved rate/pricing structures.
• Supervise billing, reservations, and OTA updates to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Requirements

• Experience: 3–5 years in Front Office operations, ideally within a 4–5 star safari camp or luxury lodge environment.
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management (or an equivalent qualification).
• Systems & Admin: Strong Property Management System (PMS) knowledge, reporting discipline, and inventory control experience.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead a small team and make sound decisions independently.
• Guest Service: Confidence in delivering VIP/high-touch service and handling complaint resolution.
• Communication: Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Personality: Warm, authoritative, hands-on, and highly detail-oriented approach.
