The Finance Systems Specialist will act as a key technological advocate within the finance department, ensuring system alignment with business needs through technical expertise and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration and Enhancement:
- Spearhead the administration and continuous improvement of our financial systems.
- Develop and deploy cutting-edge features and applications to streamline finance operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems, automate accounting tasks, and enhance financial reporting.
User Empowerment and Support:
- Provide expert guidance and training to users across all departments and locations.
- Troubleshoot issues and empower users to maximize system capabilities.
- Foster a culture of technological adoption and innovation within the finance department.
Process Optimization and Automation:
- Identify opportunities to simplify complex processes through intelligent automation.
- Design and implement solutions that improve data quality, financial controls, and reporting accuracy.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Financial Systems Expertise: Proven “hands-on” experience in financial systems administration. Expertise in any modern ERP system is essential; proficiency in MS Dynamics NAV is a significant 'plus'.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL expertise is invaluable for unlocking the power of financial data. Proficiency in C# and JavaScript is beneficial and will set you apart, though not strictly required.
- Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
