The successful candidate will be responsible for managing budgeting, financial reporting, cash flow, compliance, and strategic financial planning to ensure the organization meets its objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Performance: Overseeing the overall financial health and performance of the company.
Budgeting & Planning: Managing the budgeting process and leading strategic financial planning.
Financial Reporting: Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Cash Flow Management: Effectively managing the company's cash flow to support operations.
Compliance: Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations and internal compliance standards.
Strategic Oversight: Aligning financial strategies with the company's broader business goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
Professional Certification: CPA-K, CFA, or equivalent certification is required.
Membership: Professional membership in a relevant body is preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a Microfinance Institution (MFI) or other Financial Institution.
Leadership: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
