The Field Sales Representative Intern supports the sales team in driving sales and revenue growth in the Tharaka Nithi region. This role focuses on assisting in building and maintaining client relationships, identifying potential sales opportunities, and delivering high-quality customer service. It provides hands-on field sales experience, requiring the intern to accompany senior sales representatives to client meetings, understand customer needs, and help propose suitable roofing solutions.
Key Competencies (Responsibilities and Duties)
Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and sales presentations.
Follow up on leads and quotations, and ensure the timely closure of deals.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
Identify and pursue new market segments and business opportunities.
Educate clients thoroughly on product features, pricing, and benefits.
Coordinate effectively with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Education: A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are essential.
Attributes: Must be self-motivated, results-driven, and willing to travel extensively.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
