Field Operator - TCP/Wireline

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventative maintenance and operation of a range of wireline winches and surface equipment.
• Conduct all activities in line with company non-negotiables, applicable processes, and cultural pillars.
• Follow established instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on wellsite activity.
• Prepare equipment and maintain working knowledge of the Permit to Work system prior to operations commencing.
• Assist in the preparation of risk assessments and the delivery of TCP operations.
• Assist in the rig up of TCP equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Repair and maintain all pressure control equipment under supervision.
• Assist in pre-operational checks of wireline units and associated equipment.
• Assist in the maintenance of down hole tools and basic well head maintenance.
• Assist in the preparation of reports for both onshore and offshore use.
• Ensure all applicable quality and operational procedures identified in Company manuals are always adhered to.
• Ensure all functions are performed in accordance with Company safety and environmental procedures.
• Attend Client QHSE meetings.

Requirements

• Technical diploma in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Proven track record for wireline TCP service delivery and safety focus.
• Sound mechanical aptitude.
• Prior experience working with explosives in an industrial context.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Necessary local certifications and medical clearance as required.
