The Field HSE Supervisor offers expert knowledge and skills to generate and promote a positive health, safety, and Environment culture. This is a key role in helping control occupational risk and impact on the rig to achieve a Perfect HSE day every day. \n\n### Role Responsibilities\n- Full oversight of safe operations on a drilling and completion work site, including rig operations and a supporting maintenance yard.\n- Bring added value in HSE application to the Integration & Solutions projects.\n- Apply HSE 'Best Practice' at all project sites, in line with Client, Baker Hughes (BH), and BH I&S Management Systems.\n- Ensure coherent HSE approach by all contracted parties operating in the project and manage application of the HSE interface.\n- Support contractor HSE reps to ensure effectiveness and alignment with project objectives.\n- Liaise directly with field operational supervisors to ensure the safe operation of drilling and completion activity and supporting activities.\n- Manage, apply, and ensure adherence with Client and Baker Hughes HSE policies and procedures, and assist contracted services to comply.\n- Promote a safety culture within the workplace in accordance with industry best practices.\n- Lead and participate in various site HSE meetings, presenting safety data and statistics, and communicating HSE alerts and lessons learned.\n- Perform and follow up with site inspections, ensuring compliance and generating Remedial Work Plans (RWP) or Action Trackers (AT) for non-compliance.\n- Monitor the work environment for hazards, particularly during work performed under specific Permit to Work (PTW) requirements.\n- Assist in coordinating rig moves and verify personnel competency and vehicle certifications.\n- Report all incidents, accidents, and near misses immediately and lead the investigation process.\n- Verify risk assessments are prepared properly, implemented, and updated as required.\n- Promote the Safety Observation System and analyze data to identify trends.\n- Conduct site HSE inductions for all crew and visitors.\n- Ensure all crew are certified according to training matrixes and conduct refresher training.\n- Train and carry out emergency drills and exercises.\n- Verify that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use with valid documentation.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline from an accredited university or relevant industry experience.\n- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with at least 5+ years specifically in Environmental Health & Safety.\n- Ability to work on a rotational schedule and reside on the rig site.\n- Competence to plan, problem-solve, organize, and control wellsite operations.\n- Good leadership, interpersonal, influencing, and planning skills.\n- Excellent English oral and written communication skills, including meeting organization and minute-taking.\n- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with MS Project is required.\n- Willingness and ability to travel frequently to remote field locations.\n- Proven personnel development, coaching, and mentoring skills.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Baker Hughes careers portal using the following link:
