The Farm Manager for the Practical Learning & Demonstration Hub will deliver effective day-to-day management and coordination of the farm and learning hub operations. The ideal candidate will drive productivity, organization, and continuous improvement across the farm systems and learning spaces, ensuring that they serve as an impactful practical learning resource.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver effective day-to-day management and coordination of the farm and learning hub operations.
Drive productivity, organization, and continuous improvement across the farm systems and learning spaces.
Develop and implement work plans, budgets, and operational schedules to support efficient performance.
Support marketing and outreach by keeping the farm ready for attractive practical learning experiences and providing timely updates, content, and success stories.
Contribute to income-generation initiatives through practical agribusiness thinking, cost control, productivity improvement, and support for school/community visit packages.
Qualifications and Competencies
Diploma in General Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agribusiness, or a related field.
Minimum of three (3) years practical experience in farm management.
Experience in demonstration farms, school farms, community training, agribusiness, or experiential learning environments will be an added advantage.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and basic computer application skills.
Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Basic record-keeping, budgeting, and reporting skills.
Team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Passion for practical agriculture, learner engagement, sustainability, and community impact.
