Job Description
CBRE Excellerate is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of local Facilities Management (FM) services for a high-profile client. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in a demanding office environment while also handling a range of client HR administration duties. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership qualities, capable of driving performance through contract compliance, cost-saving initiatives, and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Performance: Demonstrate strong leadership to drive team performance and ensure contract compliance. Manage deliverables against set KPIs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Program Implementation: Successfully implement office programs including savings, energy efficiency, HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment), training, and succession planning.
Problem Solving: Apply an analytical approach to value creation and innovation across FM services and the supply chain.
Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers and client personnel at all levels, ensuring responsiveness to their needs.
Reporting & Finance: Proactively manage total facilities expenditure against budgets. Review and analyze complex financial data to generate innovative solutions and corrective plans. Prepare and present client reports according to agreed schedules.
Procurement: Provide strategic overview of procurement activities, ensuring best practices, competitive pricing, and the development of strategic supplier relationships.
HSSE Compliance: Oversee all health, safety, security, and environmental aspects of facilities management, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and best practices.
Team Management: Lead and manage a dispersed team across multiple sites within the region.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: A degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant field.
Experience: Proven experience in team management, specifically managing dispersed teams across multiple sites.
Financial Acumen: Strong ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and variance reporting.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Compliance Knowledge: Deep understanding of HSSE regulations, procurement best practices, and applicable local laws.
