Targeter Educational Publishers Ltd is a leading Nairobi-based publishing firm dedicated to shaping impactful educational content. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Editor to join our growing team and contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials for the Kenyan market.
In this role, you will be responsible for refining manuscripts to ensure clarity, accuracy, and flow. You will manage the end-to-end editorial process, from initial development through to final proofreading. Working closely with authors and designers, you will help deliver learner-centered content that is strictly aligned with the CBC/CBE curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
Refine manuscripts for clarity, accuracy, and overall flow.
Manage the editorial process from development stages to final proofreading.
Collaborate effectively with authors and designers to produce high-quality, learner-centered educational materials.
Ensure all content remains aligned with the CBC/CBE curriculum guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience
A Degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND).
Prior experience in publishing and editing books or examinations.
A strong and demonstrable understanding of the CBC/CBE curriculum.
Excellent attention to detail and proficient ICT skills.
Critical thinking, creativity, and strong problem-solving abilities.
A strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team, and high integrity.
Teaching experience will be considered an added advantage.
