Driver

The role of the Driver involves safely and responsibly operating assigned company vehicles, primarily a Pickup or SUV, to transport personnel (leadership team, supervisors) and equipment to various field zones in Mombasa County. The role is critical for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining the vehicles in excellent condition, and adhering strictly to safety regulations and designated routes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive assigned vehicle (Pickup or SUV) safely and responsibly.
• Transport leadership team, supervisors, and equipment to field zones.
• Deliver supplies and replacement equipment to field teams as needed.
• Maintain vehicle in clean and good working condition.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, oil, tires, lights).
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Maintain vehicle log book with accurate mileage and fuel records.
• Assist with equipment loading/unloading when required.
• Follow designated routes and schedules as directed by the Operations Lead.
• Ensure passenger and cargo safety at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Kenya driving license (Class BCE).
• Minimum 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Good knowledge of the Mombasa County road network.
• Experience driving 4x4 vehicles and pickups is preferred.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
