About the Role
Jumba Ruins Monsoon is seeking a Dining Room Waitress for a full-time, on-site position located in Mombasa County, Kenya. Please note that Monsoon is a seafood restaurant, not a beach bar or a pub; drinks are only served to clients having meals. The Dining Room Waitress will provide excellent customer service by taking and delivering food and beverage orders, ensuring guests have a welcoming and pleasant dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Present menus and make informed recommendations to guests.
Take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
Address customer requests, inquiries, or concerns in a professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization within the dining space.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth service.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma qualification in a relevant field.
Strong customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with guests.
Knowledge and experience in Food & Beverage service.
Basic cooking knowledge is a plus for understanding food preparation processes.
Ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining dining room cleanliness.
Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is an advantage.
