VUKA Consult is seeking candidates for short-term, field-based assignments as Data Collectors / Enumerators across all regions of Tanzania (Mainland & Zanzibar).
Role Overview The primary function of this role is to conduct high-quality interviews with households, communities, and facilities using digital data collection tools. Enumerators are expected to accurately record, verify, and submit data daily while adhering strictly to study protocols, safeguarding standards, and field safety guidance. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to travel to interior or remote areas for fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications and Requirements Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Business, or Science–related fields. Essential skills include basic computer proficiency (MS Word & Excel) and the basic use of smart devices (tablets & smartphones). Applicants must be residents of the region they apply for, possess strong knowledge of local geography (districts, wards, villages/streets), maintain good conduct, and have a clean background (no criminal record). The role requires non-political affiliation, readiness to learn and adapt, self-motivation to work with minimal supervision, and a commitment to safeguarding, gender equality, and inclusion of people with disabilities.
