Information About the Role\nJava House is looking for a Data Analyst - Operations to join our team. This role is central to our decision-making process, requiring an individual who can transform raw operational and sales data into actionable insights. You will work closely with finance and leadership teams to build performance forecasts, evaluate restaurant-level KPIs, and support strategic growth initiatives across East Africa.\n\n### Responsibilities and Duties\n- Extraction and consolidation of data and publishing of reports as and when required in support of business decision-making process.\n- Leveraging modeling techniques to identify, analyze, and present actionable data to various teams.\n- Conducting continuous sales performance reviews to be reported on an ongoing basis.\n- Extracting, examining, and reporting on key operations metrics on a periodic basis.\n- Generating monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI analysis for individual restaurants with details of any insights that the teams may need to focus on.\n- Partnering with finance and leadership to build restaurant performance forecasts and reports.\n- Assisting in developing financial feasibilities for prospective restaurant sites.\n- Performing cost-benefit analysis of various strategy options fronted by the teams.\n- Supporting restaurant teams by training them on report extraction and interpretation.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- A bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Business Administration, or any other related field.\n- Professional certification such as CPA(K) is recognized.\n- Experience working in report creation, modeling, and trend forecasting.\n- A keen understanding of P&L (Profit and Loss) and accounting principles.\n- Exceptional analytical skills with a deep interest in research and data mining techniques.\n- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and POS/Reporting software.\n- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal forms to tailor reports for various stakeholders.\n- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships and work under tight deadlines.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Java House recruitment portal.
