African Labour Solutions (ALS) is seeking a motivated Customer Service Intern to join our branch operations. This role is designed for a high-achieving business graduate who is eager to learn and provide exceptional support to our customers. You will be responsible for managing branch-level administrative tasks, processing sales documentation, and maintaining excellent customer relationships through both face-to-face and telephone interactions.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting and Financials: Prepare and send daily reports on branch sales and collections. Handle banking of cash collections within set branch limits.
Sales Documentation: Process quotations according to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Generate and issue all relevant documents for sales of goods and services at the branch.
Data Management: Collect customer data on job cards, upload information to the Navision ERP system, and prepare weekly reports on data entry.
Customer Interaction: Correctly process customer orders and billing. Communicate promotions and special offers via email and phone calls to the customer database.
Service Excellence: Ensure zero customer complaints by handling issues conclusively and escalating to the Branch Manager when necessary. Provide professional responses to all queries.
Relationship Building: Develop relationships with existing and potential customers to retain and grow branch sales.
Stock Management: Document 100% of stock received from suppliers and prepare relevant stock reports.
Operational Compliance: Strictly adhere to company SOPs and operational memos. Ensure correct handover documentation is completed.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field.
Academic Performance: Minimum KCSE mean score of B+ (plus), with at least a B in both English and Mathematics.
Age: 26 years of age or below.
Interpersonal Skills: Good communication skills with an outgoing and professional personality.
Integrity: High level of personal integrity and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
