Meru National Polytechnic (MNP) is seeking a Customer Care Intern (Vacancy No. 6/2026) to join its team. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in customer service, internal communications, and public relations within a prominent educational institution. The intern will serve as a key point of contact for visitors and assist in maintaining the institution's communication archives.
Responsibilities
Providing timely and professional feedback to customers and stakeholders.
Receiving and responding to client phone calls.
Welcoming and directing visitors to the appropriate offices within the Polytechnic.
Supporting internal communication initiatives to ensure staff are well-informed and engaged.
Assisting in the maintenance of a digital archive for institutional communication materials and media coverage.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Media and Digital Communication, Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Journalism, or Public Relations from a recognized Institution.
Proficiency in both English and Kiswahili languages.
Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.
