This role, officially titled Credit Officer, operates functionally as a Direct Sales Agent in a full-time, on-site capacity based in Eldoret. The core objective is to drive revenue generation by identifying and securing new clients, managing relationships, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Role Responsibilities
The Direct Sales Agent will be responsible for:
Identifying and prospecting potential clients for Momentum Credit's financial products.
Engaging actively in sales activities to meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Providing excellent, relationship-focused customer service throughout the client acquisition and retention journey.
Managing and nurturing relationships with both new and existing clients.
Preparing and presenting various financing solutions tailored to client needs (Individuals and SMEs).
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all client interactions and sales processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
A Diploma qualification.
A minimum of 1 year of proven experience in a similar role.
Demonstrated experience working within the financial services sector.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrated ability and experience in Customer Service.
Proficient Sales skills, including proven ability in prospecting, negotiation, and closing techniques.
Basic knowledge of Finance and specific financial products.
Highly self-motivated and strongly goal-oriented attitude, with a track record of meeting targets.
Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable Qualification (A Plus):
A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
