Based in Nairobi, Jambojet aims to revolutionize air travel by providing affordable options for everyone. The Corporate Finance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the airline's financial strategy through rigorous analysis, financial modelling, and strategic planning.
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform complex financial modelling to support strategic decision-making and business cases.
Conduct valuation techniques and scenario planning to evaluate various business opportunities.
Ensure financial analysis and reporting adhere to IFRS/IAS and international accounting standards.
Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills to prepare detailed financial analysis and high-quality management reports.
Provide insights and support for corporate finance initiatives, including aviation finance or actuarial analysis.
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure financial rigour and clarity in all strategic planning processes.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Economics, or a related field.
1–2 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, aviation finance, or actuarial analysis.
Professional qualifications (CFA, CPA, ACCA, Actuarial certifications) are considered a significant advantage.
Strong technical knowledge of IFRS/IAS and international accounting standards.
Proven proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and scenario planning.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
