The Insurance Sales Representative position at ICEA LION Group is a full-time on-site role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. As one of the largest insurers and financial services companies in East Africa, ICEA LION Group has decades of experience helping individuals protect and create wealth through innovative financial products. The representative will engage with prospective and existing clients to promote insurance products, provide tailored advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Engage with prospective and existing clients to promote and sell insurance products.
Provide tailored advice and create risk management solutions that meet specific client needs.
Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities.
Achieve individual and team sales targets as set by the management.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field is preferred.
Certification: Industry experience, preferably with a COP (Certificate of Proficiency) certification in insurance.
Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of insurance sales, contract negotiation, and sales strategy.
Experience: Previous experience in a regulated sector such as law enforcement—including familiarity with criminal investigations, evidence collection, or police officer diligence—is considered an advantage.
Skills: Strong communication and client relationship management skills. Proficiency in analyzing customer needs to recommend appropriate products.
Attributes: Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
Remuneration
Monthly commission-based payment.
