Job Description
The Silver Palm Spa and Resort is a 4-star boutique hotel located on the private Bofa Beach in Kilifi, on the coast of Kenya. Known for its scenic, quiet surroundings and palm-fringed swimming pool, it offers a blend of luxury and Swahili-inspired architecture. We are seeking experienced Cooks to join our culinary team and deliver high-quality dining experiences to our guests.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes according to the resort's 4-star standards and established recipes.
Ensure consistent food presentation and timely service for all guests.
Maintain strict adherence to kitchen hygiene, food safety regulations, and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operational workflow.
Manage ingredient usage efficiently to minimize waste and assist in inventory checks.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar high-volume or luxury hospitality environment.
Diploma or higher qualifications in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of culinary techniques and kitchen safety protocols.
