Job Description
Gilani's Restaurant is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our kitchen team. Gilani’s Restaurant is a private space within the supermarket complex in Nairobi, complete with its own separate entrance. The restaurant is laid out in a food court styled fashion and serves primarily fast food and snacks during the day, while also catering to more formal a la carte styled meals in the evenings. This is an opportunity to join a trusted brand built on excellence.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards.
Manage both fast-food/snack service during the day and formal a la carte service in the evenings.
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients and meal service as directed by the kitchen management team.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree, Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) or equivalent in a relevant field.
Passion for culinary arts and food service.
Ability to work in a fast-paced food court environment.
Flexibility to work both day and evening shifts.
