LifeCare Hospitals in Meru is seeking dedicated and passionate healthcare professionals to join their team in delivering quality care. The Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) will be part of a supportive environment focused on patient care, learning, and growth. This role is essential in providing comprehensive oral health services, education, and preventative care within the hospital's resident care framework.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality oral healthcare services to patients.
Conduct oral health assessments and diagnostic screenings.
Perform clinical procedures such as scaling, polishing, and basic extractions.
Provide oral health education and awareness to patients and the surrounding community.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records for all patients.
Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols within the dental department.
Requirements
Must possess at least a Diploma or Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Community Oral Health or a related medical field.
Valid registration and a current practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Kenya.
A commitment to patient-centered care and professional growth.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
