Job Description
MSI Reproductive Choices Kenya is seeking to recruit a Client Activation Officer who will report to the Head of Marketing, Evidence and Impact while supporting Centre Managers and the Marketing team. The primary purpose of this role is to drive financial sustainability for MSI Reproductive Choices Kenya by creating demand for healthcare services offered through commercial channels, specifically Centres and Maternities. The role holder will support the repositioning of the MSIK brand as a leading women’s healthcare provider by understanding the unique markets of each centre, identifying location-specific client needs and segments, supporting service diversification initiatives, and strengthening referral networks to increase client footfall across all service delivery channels.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Creation: Develop, implement, monitor, and review demand creation activities aimed at increasing client flow to Marie Stopes Kenya Centres and Maternities.
Brand Positioning: Support the repositioning of the MSIK brand as a premier provider of women’s healthcare.
Market Analysis: Understand unique local markets to identify specific client needs and segments.
Strategy Execution: Contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns.
Monitoring & Documentation: Support the monitoring and documentation of marketing activities and performance results.
Operational Support: Provide administrative and operational support to centre demand generators and mobilizers.
Networking: Strengthen referral networks to enhance client access and service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Administration, Project Management, or Health Management.
Other professional qualifications, ideally in Project Management, Communications and Marketing are desired.
At least 2 years’ relevant experience working with NGOs, private sector organizations, or government agencies in a Marketing role.
Strong commercial and marketing orientation with experience in demand generation, community mobilization, or service marketing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing insights.
Commercial awareness and ability to work with financial and marketing performance metrics.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
Strong influencing and negotiation abilities.
Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
