Outspan Global University invites applications from highly qualified, strategic, and results-driven professionals for the position of Chief Finance Officer (CFO). This is a senior leadership role responsible for providing fiscal leadership and ensuring prudent financial management in line with the University’s strategic objectives, statutory framework, and governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Providing fiscal leadership through the development and implementation of the University’s financial strategy.
Overseeing all financial operations of the University and its affiliated entities.
Leading the implementation and continuous improvement of financial policies, systems, and risk management frameworks.
Preparing and presenting financial performance reports to the Management Board and the University Council.
Serving as the official custodian of the University’s financial records.
Undertaking such other duties as may be delegated by the Vice-Chancellor in line with the University Statutes and terms of service.
Reporting Line
The Chief Finance Officer shall report to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Planning, Administration and Finance) and shall be accountable to the Management Board, relevant committees thereof, and the University Council.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
Mandatory Professional Certification: CPA (K), ACCA, or CIMA.
Master’s Degree (MBA or Finance-related field) is highly preferred.
Demonstrated senior-level experience in financial leadership, preferably within a university or large, complex institution.
Strong understanding of governance, regulatory compliance, and financial risk management.
