Job Description
Kilifi County is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Kilifi County Board for Persons with Disabilities. This leadership role is central to the county's vision of being a vibrant, productive, and prosperous region that provides a high quality of life for all inhabitants. The mission of the county is to provide an environment for the efficient utilization of resources, effective provision of essential services, and the implementation of industrial growth and development initiatives to improve the quality of life for all.
Responsibilities and Expectations
While specific daily duties are outlined in the board's governing documents, the CEO is generally expected to:
Provide leadership and administrative oversight for the Board for Persons with Disabilities.
Ensure the board functions in alignment with the county's mission of efficient service delivery and resource utilization.
Manage administrative operations and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Advocate for and implement programs aimed at improving the quality of life for persons with disabilities within Kilifi County.

Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (BA/BSc/HND) from a recognized institution.
Must be able to produce statutory clearance certificates from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Credit Reference Bureau (CRB), and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Completed Application for Employment Form (KCPSB 001).
