Job Description
This role of Care Analyst is primarily responsible for ensuring that customers, specifically , receive healthcare services that are affordable, accessible, cost-effective, and of high quality.
Heritage customers
Key Responsibilities
Membership benefit utilization management
Verification and assessment of pre-authorization requests and claims
Hospitalizations management and cost optimization
Review and pre-screening of received claims
Customer service - handling calls, addressing client queries on all touch points
Maintain proper departmental standards
Process/adjudicate claims
Case management through hospital visits
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, OR a Diploma in Nursing or Clinical Medicine.
Experience
At least 1 year of technical knowledge in medical insurance or a hospital setting.
Competencies
Successful candidates should possess the following core competencies:
Strong understanding of health insurance operations and concepts.
Comprehensive knowledge of medical claims processes and procedures.
Excellent stakeholder management abilities.
Superior customer service skills.
