Jambojet is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Captain to join its flight operations team. The Captain serves as the Pilot in Command (PIC), bearing ultimate responsibility for the safety of the crew, passengers, and aircraft during flight operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Pilot in Command (PIC) with final authority over aircraft operations and safety.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of the aircraft during all phases of flight.
- Maintain compliance with civil aviation regulations and company standard operating procedures.
- Manage and lead the flight crew to ensure high standards of safety and service.
- Conduct pre-flight inspections and review weather, fuel requirements, and flight plans.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Minimum of a Commercial Pilot License (CPL) with an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) required. Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience: Extensive flying experience as a qualified Pilot in Command (PIC) on type, as stipulated in the Operations Manual, with a clean accident/incident record.
- Certifications: Holder of a valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and Instrument Rating.
- Training: Comprehensive Crew Resource Management (CRM) training is essential.
- Health: Current medical fitness certification (Class 1) as required by aviation authorities.
- Additional: Relevant aviation and safety certifications are essential.
