Key Responsibilities

Shipping Procedures and Liaison

• Manage daily tracking of Sea Freight shipments.
• Coordinate shipping line documentation for release to obtain Delivery Orders and manage online EDI for port/CFS release at least 24 hours before vessel arrival.
• Track sea freight vessel manifest numbers for entry registration to facilitate tax payments and entry passes 48 hours before arrival.
• Manage SPOT vessel call creation and update vessel events.
• Follow up on Cll amendment procedures.
• Handle dispute resolution regarding local import issues, queries, or rates with shipping lines within 14 days of request.
• Provide comprehensive daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.

Container Logistics

• Track seafreight FCL containers under clearance to manage Turn-around KPIs from vessel discharge to empty relocation at the depot.
• Manage disbursements, including demurrage and detention cost payments within 24 hours of invoice receipt.
• Oversee recoveries and refund management (requests within 48 hours of empty return) and perform weekly reconciliation of shipping line accounts.

Deconsolidation and Documentation

• Track shipments and share timely vessel schedule details with client agents.
• Handle document handovers 72 hours before vessel arrival and manage shipping line payment approvals/recoveries.
• Oversee deconsolidation, handovers, and break-bulk operations, including the approval of draft recovery invoices for billing and weekly reconciliation.

Requirements

• A Diploma in Clearing & Forwarding.
• At least 7 years of professional experience in the Clearing and Forwarding industry.
