The National Youth Service (NYS) is the pride and backbone of our nation, focused on helping youth discover and develop their potential since 1964. We are currently seeking to recruit qualified and motivated Kenyan citizens for the role of Cadet Officers - Entrepreneurship Officer (3 Posts). This is a premier opportunity for young professionals to contribute to the national youth empowerment master plan.
Role Overview
As an Entrepreneurship Officer within the NYS, you will be part of a team dedicated to fostering business skills and economic self-reliance among the youth. Successful candidates will serve under permanent and pensionable terms and must be prepared to undergo rigorous training to align with the agency's standards.

Salary and Allowances: As existing in the NYS salary scale.
Medical Cover: Provided under the SHA Scheme of Civil Servants.
Terms of Service: Permanent & Pensionable.
Mandatory Training: Successful candidates MUST undergo NYS Paramilitary training for nine (9) months at the NYS Training College.
General Requirements
Be a Kenyan citizen.
Be in possession of a valid Kenyan National Identity Card (ID) and KRA PIN Certificate.
Be between 18 and 28 years of age.
Have no criminal record.
Candidates must be medically fit.
Must possess a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Meet the requirements of Chapter six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya.
Academic and Professional Qualifications
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Cadets must possess a minimum KCSE grade of C+ (plus).
