The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Business Development Officer II. This position is responsible for assisting in the coordination, oversight, and advisory of Business Development activities across the Authority, playing a vital part in identifying revenue-generating opportunities and supporting resource mobilization efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Gather data for business market surveys for the Authority.
Collect input data for the development of revenue strategy and resourcing plans.
Collect data on existing revenue-generating assets for the Authority.
Draft business and resource mobilization plans, strategies, and programmes.
Facilitate negotiations for contracts for alternative revenue sources.
Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of local and international resource mobilization strategies.
Support the identification of funding bases and fundraising partners.
Assist in coordinating and leading income generation activities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in computer applications is required.
