Emerge Egress Consulting (EEC) is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Officer – Services to support the growth of our recruitment and consulting services. The role is focused on acquiring new clients, strengthening existing relationships, and enhancing the company’s market presence through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client portfolio and promote recruitment and placement services to prospective clients.
- Sales Performance: Achieve set sales targets on a monthly and quarterly basis; conduct follow-ups, negotiations, and successfully close deals.
- Documentation: Prepare proposals, quotations, and service agreements for clients.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and advise clients/candidates on recruitment processes and timelines.
- Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote services and job opportunities; manage digital platforms including social media, email campaigns, and online engagement.
- Event Participation: Participate in marketing activities such as events, expos, roadshows, and career fairs.
- Brand Positioning: Strengthen brand visibility and enhance the company’s market positioning.
- Inquiry Handling: Respond to inquiries professionally, provide accurate information, and gather client feedback to improve service delivery.
- Reporting: Maintain updated records of leads, client interactions, and marketing activities; prepare periodic sales and marketing performance reports.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in recruitment or service-based industries is an added advantage.
- Sales Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Digital Proficiency: Exposure to digital marketing and customer engagement tools is desirable.
