I&M Bank is seeking a dedicated Branch Manager for its Greenspan branch. The job holder is responsible for driving branch performance against key performance standards as communicated and agreed with the head of business segment. This encompasses overseeing balance sheet growth (funded and non-funded lines), sales growth, income contribution, cost performance, credit management, employee satisfaction, customer experience, and operational risk and control management. The role requires providing strong leadership to branch staff and fostering a high-performance culture at the branch level.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth: Prospect for new business from both new and existing clients to drive performance.
Performance Management: Achieve growth in performance parameters and monitor branch sales performance and portfolio growth against targets.
Strategic Analysis: Identify business improvement opportunities and suggest service enhancements, product improvements, and process changes based on local business drivers.
Reporting: Prepare call reports with recommendations and submit weekly activity reports including business acquired and customer issues.
Credit & Risk Management: Analyze financial statements, assess credit requests, and present findings to approvers. Oversee excess drawings and loan arrears to maintain high asset quality.
Operations: Manage the collateral registration process, ensure timely securities perfection, and monitor operational performance while maintaining service standards.
Team Leadership: Build and motivate a high-performing branch team, ensuring compliance and service excellence through proactive resolution planning.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a Social Science or related field.
Professional Qualifications: Membership to a relevant professional body.
Experience: Over Ten (10) years’ relevant experience, with at least Three (3) years in a management position within a similar organization.
Skills: Strong leadership skills, executive disposition, and high levels of integrity.
Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
