This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the retail life business within the Ngong region by identifying new opportunities and educating clients on insurance products.
Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market.
Client Education: Educating new and existing clients on retail Life products to ensure they understand the value of the coverage.
Service Delivery: Liaising with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Providing timely and accurate insurance quotations within the specified turnaround times.
Market Analysis: Gathering market intelligence to ensure the company maintains an updated and competitive product range.
Retention: Following up with clients to ensure persistency (policy retention) is at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promoting the CIC brand in the market.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP.
Advanced Qualifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is considered an added advantage.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Soft Skills: Good negotiation skills and strong problem-solving abilities.
Customer Service: Exceptional customer care skills.
Age Requirement: Must be 25 years of age or older.
