Bancassurance Sales Officers – Retail Sales - Naivasha

CIC Insurance Group Limited, a leading insurance and investment group in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi, is seeking dedicated Bancassurance Sales Officers for Retail Sales to be based in Naivasha. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about driving sales in the Life insurance sector and offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.

Role Overview

The primary objective of this position is to generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market and promote the CIC brand through excellent customer service and product education.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
• Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life products offered by CIC.
• Liaise with relevant departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
• Provide accurate and timely quotations within set turnaround times.
• Gather market intelligence to ensure the company's product range remains competitive and updated.
• Follow up on policyholders to ensure persistency rates remain at acceptable levels.
• Actively promote and represent the CIC brand in the marketplace.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
• Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP.
• Additional Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
• Age: Applicants must be 25 years of age or older.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer Care: Proven excellence in customer care skills.
