CIC Insurance Group Limited is a leading insurance and investment group operating in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan, and Malawi. We are looking for motivated Bancassurance Sales Officers to join our Retail Sales team in Mombasa. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Role Summary
The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for driving the growth of the retail Life Business within the allocated market. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying new business opportunities, educating potential and existing clients on various life insurance products, and maintaining high standards of customer service to ensure policy retention.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet set targets.
Client Education: Educating new and existing clients on retail Life products to ensure they make informed insurance decisions.
Service Delivery: Liaising with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Providing timely and accurate quotations within established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gathering market intelligence to help the company maintain an updated and competitive product range.
Persistency Management: Following up on client accounts to ensure persistency is maintained at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promoting the CIC brand in the market to enhance visibility and reputation.
Requirements and Qualifications
Academic Background: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance (COP/ECOP). A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is considered an added advantage.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills are required for effective client interaction.
Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and customer care skills.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age and above.
