This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The Bancassurance Sales Officer will be responsible for driving retail life insurance sales within the Kapenguria region, focusing on customer education, business generation, and market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Generation: Generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on retail Life products.
Operational Coordination: Liaising with various departments to ensure timely service delivery to the clients.
Quotations: Providing timely and accurate quotations within the turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gathering market intelligence to ensure updated product range.
Client Retention: Follow up to ensure persistency is at the acceptable rate.
Brand Awareness: Promoting the CIC brand in the target market.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance – COP/ECOP.
Advanced Certifications: Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII)/LOMA is an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Service: Excellent customer care skills.
Age Requirement: 25 years and above.
