This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The primary focus is on generating and growing retail life business within the allocated market (Kangema) while maintaining high levels of customer service and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life products offered by CIC Insurance.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the company maintains an updated and competitive product range.
Persistency Management: Conduct follow-ups to ensure business persistency (policy renewals and payment consistency) remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the market to increase visibility and trust.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP are required.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is an added advantage.
Core Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Care: Proven excellence in customer care and relationship management.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
