The Bancassurance Sales Officer is responsible for generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market. This role involves identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, educating clients on retail Life products, and maintaining high levels of service delivery and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the features and benefits of retail Life insurance products.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure clients receive timely and efficient service.
Quotations: Provide accurate and timely quotations to prospective clients within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report on market intelligence to ensure CIC's product range remains competitive and updated.
Client Retention: Follow up on policies to ensure persistency rates remain at acceptable levels.
Brand Promotion: Act as an ambassador to promote and uphold the CIC Insurance brand.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP are required. A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Customer Care: Demonstrated excellence in customer service.
Age: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
