CIC Insurance Group is an insurance and investment group that operates mainly in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and Malawi. We are currently seeking to recruit Bancassurance Sales Officers for the Meru region. The primary focus of this role is to drive the growth of retail Life Business within the allocated market and ensure high standards of customer service and brand representation.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the various retail Life products offered by CIC.
Service Coordination: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate product quotations while adhering to established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help ensure the company's product range remains competitive and updated.
Persistency Management: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Act as an ambassador for the CIC brand in the market.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP. Holding a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, good negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Customer Care: Demonstrated excellence in customer care skills.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
