CIC Insurance Group Limited is seeking motivated individuals for the position of Bancassurance Sales Officers in Embu. This role is primarily focused on driving the growth of the retail Life Business within the allocated market. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, educating clients on insurance products, and ensuring high levels of customer service and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market segments.
Client Education: Educating both new and existing clients on the various retail Life products offered by CIC.
Service Delivery: Liaising with different departments to ensure clients receive timely and efficient service.
Quotations: Providing timely and accurate insurance quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gathering and reporting market intelligence to assist in keeping the product range updated and competitive.
Retention: Following up on policies to ensure persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promoting the CIC brand in the market.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP or ECOP are required.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, good negotiation skills, and problem-solving skills. Must possess excellent customer care skills.
