Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and commercially driven Assistant Manager – Merchandise / Retail Planning. The primary purpose of this role is to support retail performance through strong assortment planning, effective inventory control, and seamless vendor coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assortment planning and buying across stores
- Plan and monitor inventory levels to optimize availability and sell-through
- Allocate stock store-wise based on sales performance
- Track daily sales reports and provide performance insights
- Support and execute visual merchandising standards
- Coordinate with vendors on order placement, delivery schedules, and replenishments
- Ensure timely stock replenishment to maximize store performance
Requirements and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion, Retail, Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in merchandise / retail planning.
- Specific experience in Sports Footwear, Sports Apparel, Accessories, or Sports Equipment is required.
- Possess strong analytical, planning, and coordination skills.
- Demonstrate good communication and stakeholder management ability.
