Assistant Manager – E-Commerce (Marketplaces)

The Assistant Manager – E-Commerce (Marketplaces) role involves managing and optimizing the company’s presence across various online marketplaces, including platforms such as Jumia, Kilimall, Glovo, Bolt, Uber, and others. The core focus is driving sales growth through effective product listings, competitive pricing, strategic promotions, efficient order fulfillment coordination, and robust performance tracking.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on online marketplaces.
• Optimize product listings, pricing, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate order fulfillment and last-mile delivery partners.
• Track and analyze sales performance, conversions, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Drive revenue growth and marketplace visibility.

Requirements and Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following essential criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (BA/BSc/HND, MBA/MSc/MA).
• Experience: Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing online marketplaces.
• Knowledge & Skills: Strong understanding of e-commerce operations and analytics.
• Environment: Experience working with multi-platform marketplace environments is mandatory.
