Pwani Oil Products is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Assistant Executive - Trade Representative to drive sales volumes and manage retail relationships in Kirinyaga.
Key Responsibilities
Drive Sales Volumes: Achieve daily sales targets across the assigned route.
Product Availability & Visibility: Ensure Pwani Oil products are available, visible, and well-placed in all retail outlets, including Dukas, beauty shops, and pharmacies.
Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with retailers to enhance brand loyalty and sales performance.
Product Promotion: List and promote new product developments (NPDs), ensuring timely introduction and feedback collection.
In-Store Merchandising: Execute in-store merchandising, Point of Sale Materials (POSM) placement, and activation plans to boost brand visibility and sell-out.
Sales Tracking: Capture sales data, stock levels, and market insights accurately using the company's Sales App.
Compliance & Asset Management: Uphold company values by ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and responsible management of trade floats and company assets.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Diploma in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in field sales, route-to-market execution, or retail distribution within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
Driving License: Must possess a valid driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
Skills: Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a solid understanding of retail environments and merchandising standards.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in using Sales Apps and Microsoft Office tools.
Mindset: A customer-centric, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
