The Analyst, Financial Reporting role is crucial for ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial and regulatory reporting, strictly compliant with IFRS, statutory, and prudential standards. This is achieved by diligently collecting, validating, analyzing, and interpreting financial and prudential data. The role is accountable for the integrity of transactional financial information.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial and regulatory reporting in compliance with IFRS, statutory, and prudential standards.
- Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret financial and prudential data.
- Maintain accountability for the integrity of transactional financial information, including reviewing data to accurately reflect business results.
- Prepare and process accounting journals with proper documentation.
- Analyze expenditure for approval in line with policy.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Provide management insights that strengthen governance, capital, and liquidity management processes.
- Enhance the overall reporting and control framework.
Qualifications and Experience
Education and Certifications:
- Qualification: First Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Finance and Accounting or any other related field.
- Professional Certifications: CPA / ACCA is Preferred.
- Experience: 2-5 years of relevant professional experience.
