We are recruiting a full-time Analyst to join our Advisory team in Kenya. As a member of the transaction team, you will be working on impactful transactions and building our long-term presence in the region. We are seeking candidates with 2-3 years of experience in high-caliber consulting or finance organizations.
Responsibilities
Prepare investor documents including teasers, investment memoranda, and business plans.
Conduct research and market assessments, covering macroeconomic, regulatory, and operational aspects of relevant companies, industries, markets, and topics.
Provide sector analysis of priority areas for investment.
Identify and lead the sourcing of qualified investors.
Manage investor relationships.
Develop valuation and operational financial models.
Coordinate due diligence and transaction execution.
Support Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) activities.
Assist in the organization of conferences and other networking events.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree is required.
2-3 years of experience in high-caliber consulting or finance organizations.
Experience working in developing countries, particularly in Africa, is highly valued.
Self-starter passionate about creating lasting change in underserved markets.
Capable of taking on new types of work without prior experience or direct supervision.
Willingness to work, travel, and live in a sometimes-challenging environment.
High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to operate effectively in a changing context.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues in stressful environments.
Excellent presentation and communication skills for diverse audiences.
Experience working with a range of stakeholders, including private equity firms, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and development agencies.
