As the AI Solutions Manager at Digital Divide Data (DDD), you will be responsible for leading client partnerships and designing applied solutions for AI and Machine Learning projects. This role bridges the gap between client needs and technical execution, focusing on 2D/3D Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and ADAS/AV datasets. You will lead discovery sessions, translate technical requirements into structured workflows, and ensure the delivery of high-quality training data.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnership & Applied Solution Design
- Lead discovery sessions to understand client datasets, workflows, and ML objectives.
- Translate technical requirements into structured workflows, annotation guidelines, and quality frameworks.
- Provide clients with performance insights, delivery updates, and workflow recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize or expand ongoing programs.
Program Delivery Leadership
- Oversee daily execution of AI/ML/CV/AV/ADAS workflows to meet accuracy, throughput, and timeline SLAs.
- Guide onboarding, calibrations, workflow transitions, and guideline updates.
- Partner with Delivery Leads on staffing, training, and production readiness.
- Maintain documentation and ensure alignment across teams.
Analytics, Quality & Root-Cause Insights
- Build dashboards and reports tracking accuracy, Inter-Annotator Agreement (IAA), errors, productivity, and latency.
- Lead root-cause analyses and collaborate with QA/Training teams to drive improvements.
- Provide actionable insights that improve model training data and system performance.
- Communicate analytics to clients and internal technical teams.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Recommend process optimizations using data trends and team feedback.
- Promote adoption of automation tools: pre-labeling, AI-assisted annotation, and QC automation.
- Improve sampling, auditing, and annotation consistency frameworks.
Commercial & Pre-Sales Support
- Provide technical inputs for proposals, pricing, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Support RFI/RFP submissions with workflow and technical expertise.
- Participate in demos and client evaluations alongside Business Development.
Requirements and Qualifications
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of annotation workflows for 2D/3D CV, NLP, LiDAR/RADAR, AV/ADAS datasets.
- Proficiency with tools like Labelbox, SuperAnnotate, Scale AI, CVAT.
- Experience designing workflows, taxonomies, guidelines, and quality processes.
- Solid analytics skills: Excel mastery; SQL/Python familiarity; experience with PowerBI/Tableau/Looker.
Leadership & Client Management
- Excellent communication, technical storytelling, and stakeholder management.
- Experience managing escalations, coaching teams, and leading in KPI-driven environments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or related fields.
- 5+ years in AI/ML operations, technical solutioning, or program delivery.
- Experience with annotation workflows, robotics, AV/ADAS, or computer vision is a plus.
