The Agent Onboarding & Support Specialist is responsible for onboarding, training, and activating agents on the Lami platform. The role ensures agents are compliant, confident in using the platform, and equipped to generate business quickly. You will manage the end-to-end onboarding journey, ensure KYC compliance, and support agents from registration through to their first successful sale.
Key Responsibilities
Agent Onboarding & Training: Onboard and activate new agents on the Lami platform, conduct training sessions, and provide hands-on support for platform navigation.
KYC Compliance & Agent Support: Ensure agents meet KYC compliance standards, verify documentation, maintain records, and provide effective support.
Sales Enablement: Guide agents from onboarding to their first policy sale, providing practical sales guidance and monitoring early performance.
Performance Tracking: Set activation targets, track onboarding progress and sales activity, and follow up to drive engagement.
Feedback & Process Improvement: Gather feedback on onboarding and platform usability to share insights with internal teams for improvement.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing teams to provide agents with sales and promotional materials.
Measures of Success
Fast Agent Activation: Agents completing their first sale within one week of onboarding.
High KYC Compliance: Full adherence to regulatory and documentation requirements.
Strong Conversion: High rates of converting onboarded agents to their first sale.
Agent Retention: Maintaining a high ratio of active agents compared to those onboarded.
Required Skills & Qualifications
BA/BSc/HND qualification.
Strong communication and relationship-management skills.
Experience in agent onboarding, training, or customer support, preferably within a tech-enabled environment.
Familiarity with KYC (Know Your Customer) and compliance processes.
Ability to track performance metrics and drive results.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
Interest in technology and innovation within the insurance sector.
