The Mirema School, a Christian-based primary school offering the 2.6.6.3/8.4.4 curriculum, International British Curriculum & Special Needs Curriculum, is seeking a qualified Accounts Intern. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the finance and accounts functions, completing routine bookkeeping, and accounting tasks. This role provides support in preparing budgets, financial reporting, and general accounting duties for the school.
Responsibilities
Help with month-end financial reports.
Help with bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable.
Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports.
Compose and input journal entries into QuickBooks.
Do data entry and credit checks.
Complete and proofread requisitions from other school departments.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Commerce.
CPA Part 2 certification.
QuickBooks/Sage/Accounting qualification.
6 months to 1 year of relevant accounts experience.
Valid certificate of good conduct.
